She Might Burn: A Poem About Resilience

She Might Burn

They say she is fragile,

But she is rather agile.

.

You called her crazy,

But maybe it’s just you who are lazy?

… and even if she is crazy,

She is a daisy.

.

She is gentle,

You’re judgmental.

.

If her light shines too bright,

Catch a flight.

.

If her warming hands burn,

You are free to return.

However, you have to learn.

.

What you called fragile,

Is indeed highly vagile.

.

She has learned,

After she got burned,

To be unconcerned.

.

She is a daisy,

Maybe a bit crazy,

But never lazy.

.

A daisy symbolises innocence and fun,

But is not for everyone.

.

She stretches towards the sun,

Just for fun.

.

Her light shines bright,

She is daylight.

.

She has been called a sun,

But you pointed the gun.

So, if she is to burn, It was your decision to the point of no return.
